Introducing Our 2024 Nominees

Andre Abarca

Andre suffered a spinal cord injury at level T9-L3 due to a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on September 8th, 2023. Andre is still adjusting to the life-altering impacts of this injury as well as the financial burden it carries. Please consider donating to Andre and supporting his mission of financing his physical training, medical treatments, and wheelchair-related equipment.

Carson Dohemann

Carson suffered a spinal cord injury at level C5 due to a swimming/diving accident in Tamales Bay in 2019. Carson and his wife, Shannon utilize the undeniable strength of their bond and the love they have for one another to live the best possible life they can despite Carson’s injury. Nevertheless, living with a spinal cord injury comes with many expenses. Please consider donating to Carson and supporting his mission of financing accessible modifications to his home, and purchasing helpful tools and equipment that will ultimately create more overall independence.
